Egg Casserole

  • 2 cups plain toasted croutons
  • 1 cup natural shredded cheese
  • 4 to 6 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/8 teaspoon onion powder
  • Dash of black pepper
  • 6 slices bacon

In bottom of greased 10 X 6 X 1-3/4 inch baking dish, combine plain toasted croutons and shredded cheese. Combine slightly beaten eggs, milk, salt, dry mustard, onion powder, and pepper. Mix well. Pour over crouton mixture in casserole. Cook 6 slices of bacon until crisp. Drain and crumble. Sprinkle over top. Bake at 325 degrees for 30-45 minutes. Can be doubled. Serves 6. (I doubled it and baked in 9 x 13 pan!)
